The new ones –
done yesterday . . .
So far, all these are the same size and there is about a dozen of them with watercolor backgrounds and then ink work using technical pen on top. The ones above were done free-hand. Some have been designed and then pencil rendered with inked curving ribbons on top. The NYC inspired series are each on bristol board with Winsor & Newton watercolors, technical pen and some have Derwent watercolor pencil accents on Canson smooth bristol 9″x12″.
I wish all of my art was here in New York. I’d sell all of it. But, no . . .
There were three or four other paintings in this same style finished yesterday that I will put on the next post.
