(Says in part – )

Salazar blamed the explosion that caused the spill on a failure in rig technology intended to prevent so-called blowouts.

“There is no doubt at all here that what has happened is the blowout prevention mechanism at the bottom of the well … is defective,” Salazar said. “While there have been blowouts in the past, we have never seen anything that has been quite of this magnitude.”

Appearing on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar and Adm. Thad Allen, the commandant of the Coast Guard, warned the leaking oil from a rig explosion could continue for weeks with dire consequences.

“It is potentially is catastrophic,” Salazar said. “I think we have to prepare for the worst.”

That would mean oil damaging sensitive coastal wetlands and industries, including a vital fishing sector that was damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

My Note –

That means anybody saying there is nothing to this and much ado is being made about nothing – needs their head examined and to either shutup and help or just shutup.

Or, better yet – people need to stop listening to the bastards that think that way. Stop giving them your money, stop littering your mind with it and stop supporting the crap they are saying by disseminating it for them every time you repeat it . . .

Back to the oil spill catastrophic consequences of the BP / TransOcean / Halliburton profits –

My Note – (added to facebook on my site with the video clip below)

There is never, never, never going to be common sense in the executive community – here is one more typical example of the disconnected nature of the corporations using our national resources to serve their own purposes without regard. – cricketdiane

The BP officials or whoever is doing it – need to get some seventeen year olds that are gamers – as in video game geeks – to work those remote submersibles – they are more qualified than those in the age group whose hand-mind motor coordination for these efforts are being used. That is called – “using a specialist.”

– I don’t know if my use of cuss words occasionally, is offensive to those who consider it “being potty-mouthed,” as it was described by news broadcast people about the Senators using the word, “shit” in the Goldman Sachs hearings. I find their use of the term, “potty-mouth” among adults who are the audience members needing their news coverage to be even more offensive.

However, if it has offended anyone in polite company, I do want them to know that I have no expectations of fitting into polite company anytime soon, either way.

And, after seeing what “polite company” people have been doing with their time and money and the investment of their resources, which has yielded this mess with BP and Goldman Sachs and many other corporations along with the creating of the horrific changes in what we used to call Wall Street and what we used to consider “good business practices” and conscience generally, it isn’t very impressive nor a place where I would want to stand. Just as many people are now getting away from any association with BP – Hmmmm…. wonder why?

The Senators were right – what is shit is shit – I don’t care what else it is called. And, “Hell No” – isn’t spelled out among adults and a bravado constituency that incorporates elderly people who took part in the roaring twenties, bra-less “flappers” and making bathtub gin (at home,) nor which includes their offspring who developed and agreed to use the atomic bomb on two entire populations and their offspring.

Being “potty mouthed” is hardly the problem. And, when the kindergartner who wrote President Obama asked about “are they being nice?” – somebody needed to tell that child that adults have a lot more information about that than he does . . . Thankfully, that child doesn’t have the information and experiences that we do which give us the knowledge, wisdom and insight to know when to be nice and when to use something else.

– my note – an obvious “aside”
