Listening to the news and various Republicans that have been playing in the last few days, it occurs to me that on several notes I’ve made from these shows, there is a continuing statement by the Republicans – “its war.”
O’Reilly stated, “the right believes Obama is the devil.” And, then it is obvious that the Republicans won Tuesday’s elections based on three things -
1. repeal health care bill
2. stop Federal government spending
3. getting rid of Obama
“its war.”
A number of times, there have been statements about “redistricting” by Republicans and Republican pundits / strategists – “this is war”. And, Glen Beck displaying his puppet marionette of President Obama on the O’Reilly teaser just now before the commercials even as conservative talk radio screams a story whose facts they never checked about Obama’s trip costs to India right now.
Apparently, CNN is contesting the facts of that story and discovered that to rent the entire hotel where the President will be staying only costs $170,000 a day in total. What they are all missing however, is that fact which FoxNews clearly states along with every Republican source that speaks – “it is war.”
I think they missed the war we are actually fighting with all that energy and all of those efforts. I don’t guess it matters to the Republicans and the Republican party, whether our entire nation loses in this international economic war we are fighting – as long as they win the hearts and minds of the United States for the power that the Republicans are forever hungry to hold and to wield.
For the last two years, the Republicans have acted like two-year olds who found the power to say “no” regardless of the advantage or disadvantage in doing so and regardless of the damage caused by doing so. And, at every turn they have been at war and are still at war – for America – to the detriment of us all.
Actually, I think we lost both times – when so much power was given to Democrats in 2008 and now – as so much power has again been placed in the hands of Republicans in Congress and in every state.
The combination is wrong.
We have got to win against a world of nations who would supplant us, surpass us and will ultimately economically destroy us. This conflict of power in the US and the fight for the minds of the American people will not win in that real international economic war. It is only destroying the fabric of possibilities for America – and it won’t change the Federal and State governments’ ability to fix what is broken in America nor make us more competitive in the world environment. It won’t bring jobs, build businesses, restore the value of our currency and property, nor put more Americans in financial prosperity, nor build our nation for the future.

China controls 95% of the rare metals resources in the world.
When they were explaining to Japan that the arrest of a ship captain who is a citizen of China was unacceptable, one of the things that Chinese leadership chose to do – was to stop the export of rare metals to Japan.
That is war.
Using our national resources to take the mind’s of America’s people in order to win an election – is the real war being fought by America.
It’s interesting to note, that since I started going to your site, my computer had a heart attack and nearly died. Some new samritan came along and forced me to apply his help to the situation even though I had sufficiant detourance onboard. I get these popups that tell me not to download, I’m now in total wonder. Thanks for your ongoing work.
Well, durn. That does explain a lot. Maybe I can disavow the ping backs or something and see if that helps. I’ve been allowing them but maybe that is not a good choice. Thankyou for letting me know. My apologies to you and your computer.
Thanks again and I will see what I can do to fix it.
