Unfortunately, I live in the sovereign nation of Georgia, where the Americans with Disabilities Act does not apply and most other Constitutional Rights do not mean anything. Consequently, rather than find myself in a mental hospital again with all that entails, I’m doing what I know can work to get this show done anyways -
Here is What I Would Have Done and Had Been Working On Doing When I Had To Stop Or Be Locked Away -
1. Secured the Fox Theater or other venue to hold the event – they all have a deposit around $10,000 – $15,000 and paperwork to be faxed or delivered. I would’ve arranged for the money from individuals that I know around Atlanta and elsewhere, from churches, organizations, publicity companies, event promotion companies and individual businesses of scale and smaller.
2. Negotiated for sponsors from large and small business owners and marketing / publicity / public relations departments of businesses and individuals, colleges, military branch recruitment groups, non-profits and broadcasters, (radio, cable and tv).
3. Worked to bring local, national and international businesses into the mix as sponsors, participants and offer the how-to information they have available as resources to the audience members including safety, awareness, literacy, information, access points for helping yourself, thinking skills, knowledge databases and resources, live help question answered points, internet and search engine skill sets and others.
4. Signed for bonding and insurance, just in case any libel or liabilities occurred from my actions or from the audience participating in the event & sponsors, entertainers and service personnel participating.
(There are 16 total items on this list hand-written this morning. I will post them four at a time, this morning.)
