A Note From Cricket Hoo-Hoo Holler - (On The Light Side) - Cricket Diane C Phillips - 2008
27 03 2008A Hoot and A Holler from Sparky (Sparkle) Phillips down Georgia way - always got no money and always somewhere down in the holler from where I oughta be.
This is a little light reading for the Big Dawgs out there. Some GA folks got madder’n a wet hornet’s nest cause I said they couldn’t get out of a wet paper bag in stagnant branch off the Mississippi. Well, that’s cause it was rude to put the situation in the Mississippi. So, I’m gonna be kind and re-write that so it can be understood correctly.
Dear Georgia State Government Agency Folks and Leaders and Academia -
Ya’ll gotta be kidding. Are you just gonna sit under a shade tree, cussing, fussing and discussing till the whole place slides into the outhouse, or what? The Big Dawgs need to get off the porch before I get a straw broom and run off the whole dadburn bundle of nonsense. The comment shoulda been -
“Normal people in the State Government and State Leadership and Academia here in Georgia are ornery enough to sugar somebody’s gas tank cause they’re mad at ‘em and mean enough to make sure somebody they don’t like never ever gets to work in their State. But, if I were to ask ya’ll to get your marbles out of a wet paper box sitting in Geronimo Georgia red mud fishing hole, not two feet deep - what would happen? Ya’ll would say what? - Couldn’t do it could yah? I’m sure glad ya’ll not in that wet bag or box cause I’m gonna have to work with you anyway and obviously none of us down here in Georgia like each other - any - ever.”
Oh well, that was the hit from the hoo-hoo holler where the grass don’t grow, the sun always says hello and nobody knows how to use a Cricket for anything but bait.
Love ya’ll
